1. Introduction

Welcome to QRmint ("we", "us", or "our"). QRmint is a free online QR code generator that lets you create custom QR codes for websites, WiFi networks, contact cards, WhatsApp, email and more — directly in your browser.

We take your privacy seriously, and we built QRmint so that it needs as little of your data as possible to work. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use our website, how any collected information is used, and the choices you have. By using QRmint, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. What we do and do not keep

QR code images are generated on our servers, so the content you encode is sent to us to be drawn. Here is exactly what that means in practice:

• The content you encode is sent to our servers so the QR code image can be generated there. For static QR codes it is used to draw the image and is not stored afterwards, not attached to your account, and never sold or shared.
• For dynamic QR codes saved to your dashboard we do store the destination and any landing-page content you enter — that is what makes them editable and trackable. You can delete them at any time.
• A logo you add is resized in your browser and sent with the design so it can be drawn into the image; for static codes it is not retained after the image is returned.
• You do not need an account to design and preview QR codes. An account and an active subscription are required to download the image file.

In short: we receive what we need to draw your code, we keep only what a feature actually requires, and we never sell or share it.

3. Cookies

QRmint does not show advertising and does not use advertising or tracking cookies. There is no Google AdSense, no DoubleClick cookie, no analytics profile of you, and nothing that follows you to other websites.

• If you create an account, we set a single essential session cookie (qrmint.sid) so you stay logged in. It contains only an opaque session identifier — no personal data — and is marked HttpOnly and Secure.
• Logging out deletes it. You can also clear it from your browser at any time; you will simply be signed out.
• Nothing on the site requires a cookie banner, because we set no non-essential cookies.

Because there are no advertising cookies to consent to, there is nothing here to opt out of.

4. Payment information

QRmint Pro subscriptions are processed by a third-party payment provider acting as the merchant of record. QRmint never sees, receives or stores your card number, expiry date or security code. Those details are entered on the provider's own secure checkout and handled entirely by them.

To complete a purchase, the provider receives your email address and the billing country and tax information required to issue a valid invoice. In return we receive only what we need to run your account: a customer and subscription reference, the plan you chose, its status, and the date it renews or ends. The provider processes your data under its own privacy policy, which you should read before purchasing.

If you request a refund or cancel, we keep a minimal record of the transaction for the period required by accounting and tax law.

5. Log data

Like virtually every website, the server that hosts QRmint may automatically record basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type and version (user agent), the pages you visit, the date and time of your visit, and the referring page. This information is collected by the hosting infrastructure for security, abuse prevention and technical troubleshooting purposes. It is not linked to the content of any QR code you create, and it is not used to personally identify you.

6. Third-party links

Our website may contain links to external websites that are not operated by us. If you click a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies or practices of any third-party websites or services. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of every site you visit.

7. Children's privacy

QRmint is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since our generator works without accounts and without collecting personal data, we do not expect to receive such information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.

8. Your privacy rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights regarding your personal information under laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). These may include the right to:

• Access the personal information held about you;
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information;
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your personal information;
• Receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
• Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information as defined by the CCPA;
• Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.

Because QRmint stores very little about you — an email address and password hash if you have an account, plus your saved dynamic QR codes — there is usually little to disclose or delete, and we can do both on request. Payment records held by our payment provider are covered by their own privacy policy. 9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Your continued use of QRmint after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
